Children's Education

Children are a very important part of our church family.

Our goal is to nurture growth in Christian spirituality, faith and community. The mission of the Children’s Education Team is to promote, organize and staff Christ-centered, scripturally-based children’s education.
 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL!

Please join us for this Summer's Vacation Bible School. August 2-5 for 4 year olds to 4th graders. It will be held at El Chorro Regional Park from 9am to noon. The registration form is located below in the resources/forms tab.

 

Sunday Morning

  • Nursery care during all worship services
  • Children's Church for 3 year olds - 2nd grade during 1st service
  • Sunday School classes for preschool - 6th grade September- June

 


Special Events Include:

  • Vacation Bible School August 2-5, 2011 (registration form located below under resources/forms).
  • Fall Frolic
  • Advent Night
  • Sunday School Open House 
  • Cuatro Cinco Seis- Youth Group for 4th-6th graders

Children in Church Brochure

Adults sometimes wonder why little children are brought to church. Bringing children into our sanctuary is a little like inviting children to eat with us at the dinner table. Even when their manners are far from polished, it is our hope that, given time and exposure, they will become comfortable participating in our rituals in their own meaningful ways. In the meantime, children are still an integral part of our church family and so they belong here with us. Download this brochure to read more about having children in our services....
