SERMON SERIES BEGINS
After journeying across the Atlantic Ocean through the Panama Canal to the Port of Los Angeles, our church’s new Veritas chancel organ is due to arrive by truck the week of January 8!
The Sanctuary will be closed for organ installation January 15, 22 and 29. Sunday morning worship will be moved to Wilson Hall.

SUNDAY MORNINGS will feature two worship opportunities at 9:00 & 10:30 am with the return of Praise Singers and Chancel Choir.
During October, I will preach a sermon series entitled Understanding the Will of God.

Holy Week opens at the intersection of triumph and foreboding as Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem is recounted with the distribution of palms in both services.

Last October, our congregation engaged in the process of telling our personal stories of how First Presbyterian Church SLO has made an appreciative difference in our lives. At the November 7 half-day Summit retreat, nearly 100 of you broke up into small groups and brainstormed your visions and dreams for our church’s future.
